Abstract
Poduzeća u financiranju svojih aktivnosti koriste različite izvore financiranja, no u današnjem dinamičnom okruženju, tradicionalni izvori financiranja sve se češće nadopunjuju novim načinima financiranja koji poduzeću mogu biti prihvatljiviji s obzirom na iznos, cijenu ili raspoloživost. Leasing je jedan od eksternih načina financiranja poduzeća koji u novije vrijeme sve više dobiva na značenju te se sve više koristi, posebice kod financiranja malih i srednjih poduzeća. Postavlja se pitanje što je uopće leasing, na koji način se poduzeća mogu financirati njime te koje su prednosti, a koji nedostatci financiranja leasingom. Leasing se često uspoređuje s najmom, iako se ta dva pojma razlikuju. Stoga je važno poznavati osnovne karakteristike i vrste leasinga i ulogu leasinga kao alternativnog izvora financiranja
Abstract (english)
Companies use different sources to finance their activities. In today's dynamic environment, tradicional sources of financing are increasingly being supplemented by new ways that may be more acceptable to the company in terms of amount, price or availability. Leasing is one of the external ways of corporate financing, which has recently become increasingly important, especially int he context of insufficient sources of financing small and medium companies. The question arises what is leasing, in which way companies can be financed by it and what are the advantages and disadvantages of leasing. Leasing is often compared to rent, althrough the two terms are different. Therefore, it is important to know the basic characteristics and types of leasing and the role of leasing as an alternative source of financing.
