Abstract
U radu se obrađuje pojam i temeljna obilježja poduzetništva u suvremenom gospodarstvu. Cilj rada je utvrditi značaj i ulogu poduzetništva u poticanju gospodarskog rasta. Razlog odabira predmeta istraživanja uvjetovan je činjenicom da u današnjem poslovnom okruženju vlada intenzivna konkurencija, obilježena dramatičnim i brzim promjenama. Takvo okruženje zahtijeva fleksibilna i agilna poduzeća koja mogu brzo odgovoriti na tržišne promjene, a to su upravo poduzeća u kojima prevladava poduzetnički način razmišljanja. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da mikro i mala poduzeća predstavljaju glavninu poslovnih subjekata i okosnicu zapošljavanja u gospodarstvu Republike Hrvatske te ih je stoga važno poticati programima ERASMUS, COSME i HAMAG-BICRO poticajima.
Abstract (english)
The paper deals with the concept and basic characteristics of entrepreneurship in the modern economy. The aim of this paper is to determine the importance and role of entrepreneurship in stimulating economic growth. Today's business environment is characterised by intense competition and dramatic and rapid changes. Such an environment requires flexible and agile companies that can respond quickly to market changes, and these are precisely the companies in which an entrepreneurial mind-set prevails. The results of the research show that micro and small enterprises represent the majority of business entities and the backbone of employment in the Croatian economy, and it is therefore important to encourage them with ERASMUS, COSME and HAMAG-BICRO incentives.
