Abstract
Svako poduzeće ima svoju imovinu, stoga je normalan proces da se imovina troši, te je razumljivo da se tada susrećemo sa pojmom amortizacije. Amortizacija se može definirati kao postupno trošenje imovine tijekom vijeka upotrebe. Pri obračunu amortizacije koriste se točno određene amortizacijske stope koje su određene za svaku kategoriju imovine. Obračun amortizacije započinje prvog dana mjeseca koji slijedi nakon mjeseca za koje je karakteristično da je tada sredstvo stavljeno u upotrebu. Amortizacija najčešće prestaje kada sredstvo amortiziramo. Metode amortizacije je potrebno primjenjivati dosljedno. Razlikujemo sljedeće metode amortizacije: funkcionalna, linearna, progresivna, degresivna. Bitno je istaknuti kako amortizacija uvelike utječe na poslovanje poduzetnika, te na financijske izvještaje. U radu je objašnjen računovodstveni i porezni aspekt amortizacije u hrvatskim poduzećima. Računovodstveni standardi reguliraju način i metodu obračuna amortizacije. Potrebno je obratiti pažnju na to da troškovi amortizacije koji pri tom nastaju nisu uvijek porezno priznati, te poduzetnik mora „biti u toku“ sa Zakonom o porezu na dobit i Pravilnikom o porezu na dobit, koji su važni jer propisuju kada, te iznos pomoću kojih znamo da li su troškovi amortizacije ipak porezno priznati troškovi. U slučaju da su troškovi amortizacije porezno nepriznati, tada dolazi do stvaranja porezne imovine koja je odgođena.
Abstract (english)
Every company has its own assets, so it is a normal procedure to spend assets. It is therefore understandable that we then encounter his notion of depreciation. Depreciation can be defined as the gradual depreciation of an asset over its useful life. When calculating depreciation, specific depreciation rates are used, which are determined for each category of assets. Depreciation begins on the first day of the month following the month in which the asset is then in use. Depreciation usually ceases when the asset is depreciated. Depreciation methods need to be applied consistently. We distinguish the following depreciation methods: functional, linear, progressive, degressive. It is also important to point out that depreciation greatly affects the business of entrepreneurs, and financial statements. The paper explains the accounting and tax aspect of depreciation in Croatian companies. Accounting standards govern the manner and method of calculating depreciation. It should be noted that the resulting depreciation costs are not always tax deductible, and the entrepreneur must be „up to date“ with the Income Tax Act and the Income Tax Ordinance, which are important because they prescribe when and the amount by which we know whether depreciation costs are still tax deductible expenses. In the event that depreciation costs are non-tax deductible, then a deferred tax asset is created.
