With a war for quality that was raging on in world economy, a struggle for excellence and success in achieving quality led to development of various quality management systems, each with their own requirements that organizations must meet in order to achieve a better reputation on the market, obtaining certificates from relevant institutions applies a positive impression to the interested customers, clients, partners and to other stakeholders that the organization is reliable and is willing to make efforts to do business as well as possible. We got acquainted with standardized management systems that are mostly used in modern business and through the example of HEP d. d., it is shown that the constitutional investment in quality achieves results wanted by the organization and makes her competitive and ready for possible market troubles.
