Public relations is the discipline responsible for maintaining successful communication between different publics and organizations or persons. PR experts have the wide knowledge in different areas: communication science, management, marketing and psychology. Their aim is to motivate people through communication or to engage them in certain actions. Different techniques have shown high efficiency in spreading ideologies. Shifting the job of PR experts to celebrities and politicians has proved to bring the highest returns in the PR world, because people tend to believe them more easily - when they hear the human voice or see their home atmosphere, it's less probable they will question the credibility or honesty of their source of information. Furthermore, the social media enables interaction and easier exchange of information about products and services. Personal communication could be the cause of human recklessness when buying something or during presidential elections and other situations where they are influenced by PR experts. The extense of this topic requires more space than extent of this paper allows and I think it would be very useful to continue the research about this ongoing topic. Each of the media mentioned could be analized in more detail, as well as the rest of the social networks that are not so popular yet or are in the making and therefor not mentioned in my paper. This paper represents the summary of the effects the public relations have on social networks, but also as a stimulus for critical thinking of readers
