Abstract
Upoznavajući vremenom neograničene mogućnosti računalnih sustava, čovjek se tijekom zadnjih gotovo 80 godina bavi idejom kako iskoristiti njihov potencijal i razviti umjetnu inteligenciju koja će biti u mogućnosti u mnogim segmentima zamijeniti ljudski rad. U cijelom tom procesu iznimnom brzinom razvijaju se sustavi koji oponašaju ljudsku komunikaciju do neslućenih razmjera. Zbog toga su se počela postavljati etička pitanja primjene umjetne inteligencije, budući se njihova primjena prelila na sve segmente društva što je počelo predstavljati ugrozu potrebe za ljudskim radom. U okviru ovog završnog rada objašnjeni su najvažniji aspekti nastanka i razvoja umjetne inteligencije, te dvojbe njezinog suvremenog razvoja i primjene, a na primjeru ChatGPT-a kao jednog od najnaprednijih sustava za obradu prirodnog jezika koji je trenutno dostupan.
Abstract (english)
Over the past almost 80 years, as computer systems' limitless capabilities have become increasingly apparent, humans have been exploring the idea of harnessing their potential and developing artificial intelligence capable of replacing human labor in various domains. Throughout this process, systems that mimic human communication have been rapidly advancing to unprecedented levels. Consequently, ethical questions about the application of artificial intelligence have arisen, as its use has permeated all aspects of society, posing a threat to the need for human labor. Within the framework of this final paper, the most important aspects of the origin and development of artificial intelligence are explained, as well as the dilemmas of its contemporary development and application, using ChatGPT as an example, one of the most advanced natural language processing systems currently available.
