Abstract
Pojavom društvenih mreža komunikacija je dosegla novu razinu evolucije izmjene informacija. Mogućnost slanja i primanja poruka koje sadrže određenu informaciju postala je lakša nego ikada te nikada nije bilo lakše pronaći određenu informaciju pomoću interneta. Međutim, ovdje se krije mnogo zamki budući da društvene mreže omogućuju kolanje velike količine informacija ponekad je teško razaznati koja je informacija točna a koja ne. Lobiranje kao jedan od oblika odnosa s javnošću poglavito je prosperirala razvojem društvenih mreža omogućivši pojedincu ili skupini ljudi da određenu informaciju prenese puno većem broju osoba i tako ih pokuša uvjeriti da je njihova poruka ona koja je ispravna. U radu će se pokazati kako društvene mreže mogu biti efikasni alat za prijenos informacija, ali i za manipuliranje istih te koliko opasno može biti kada pojedinci koriste društvene mreže za osobnu korist.
Abstract (english)
With the advancement of social networks, communication has reached a new level of evolution of information exchange. The ability to send and receive messages containing specific information has become easier than ever, and it has never been easier to find specific information using the Internet. However, there are many pitfalls here, since social networks allow a large amount of information to circulate, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish which information is correct and which is not. Lobbying as a form of public relations has mainly prospered with the development of social networks, enabling an individual or a group of individuals to convey certain information to a much larger number of people and thus try to convince them that their message is the right one. The paper will show how social networks can be an efficient tool for transferring information, but also for manipulating it, and how dangerous it can be when individuals use social networks for personal gain.
