Abstract
Ovaj završni rad istražuje poduzetništvo u okviru obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava (OPG), s posebnim naglaskom na slučaj obiteljskog gospodarstva Željka Žgele. Rad se bavi izazovima modernizacije poljoprivredne mehanizacije i uvođenja novih proizvodnih djelatnosti, poput prerade suhomesnatih proizvoda, kako bi se povećala održivost i konkurentnost OPG-a. U radu su analizirane mogućnosti financiranja kroz mjere ruralnog razvoja i fondove Europske unije, kao i zakonski okvir potreban za pokretanje novih djelatnosti unutar OPG-a. SWOT analiza OPG-a Željka Žgele naglašava snage, slabosti, prilike i prijetnje s kojima se susreće, dok financijska analiza ukazuje na ključne ekonomske čimbenike koji utječu na poslovanje. Rad također predlaže strateške smjernice za budući razvoj i diversifikaciju aktivnosti OPG-a, uzimajući u obzir tržišne izazove i prilike koje nude europski fondovi.
Abstract (english)
This thesis explores entrepreneurship within family farms (OPG), with a particular focus on the case of the Željko Žgela family farm. The paper addresses the challenges of modernizing agricultural machinery and introducing new production activities, such as the processing of cured meat products, to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the farm. The study analyzes the opportunities for financing through rural development measures and European Union funds, as well as the legal framework required for launching new activities within the farm. A SWOT analysis of the Željko Žgela family farm highlights the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats it faces, while a financial analysis identifies key economic factors affecting the business. The paper also proposes strategic guidelines for the future development and diversification of the farm's activities, taking into account market challenges and opportunities offered by European funds.
