The Problem of work is focused on the study of Literature, legal regulations, accounting standards, financial Reporting standards and other regulations related to reporting of economic operators. Legal frameworks define who is obliged to submit annual reports in which the business of the company in the previous year is recorded. Annual reports consist of a financial and non-financial part. The financial part shows quantitative data related to the company's business in the current year and the comparison with the previous year. The importance of annual reporting, except for the company or undertaking issuing the report, is also for interest groups, potential investors, regulatory agencies, suppliers, buyers and the overall public. It is very important that the annual reports comply with financial reporting standards, as well as accounting standards and the relevant legal regulations. The practical part of the work shows the annual report of the Podravka Group for 2018. Year. Podravka nurtures high standards of corporate governance and financial reporting, and as one of the largest Croatian exporters it is very interesting for analysis. The work is conceived in five parts; The first part of the work is an introduction in which the topic of work and its essential determinants are briefly presented. The second part of the work shows the underlying financial statements, such as the balance sheet, the profit and loss account, the report on other comprehensive income, the cash flow statement, the statement of changes in capital and the notes with the financial statements; The third part of the work is the annual report, its structure and legislation, and the standards applied in annual reporting; The fourth part of the work shows a practical example of the annual report of the Podravka Group for 2018. It shows the introductory part, the non-financial report and the financial report; The fifth part of the work is the concluding part in which the conclusions of the author of the work and the knowledge related to the topic of annual reporting are presented.
