Abstract
ESG standardi (Environmental, Social, Governance) postaju sve važniji u poslovnom svijetu, naglašavajući potrebu za održivim i odgovornim poslovanjem. Ovaj rad istražuje kako implementacija ESG standarda može unaprijediti poslovanje tvrtke koja djeluje u sektoru univerzalnih poštanskih usluga, fokusirajući se na okolišne, društvene i upravljačke aspekte. Glavni cilj rada je prikazati metode i strategije implementacije ESG standarda u poslovanje poštanske tvrtke te analizirati koristi i izazove... More povezane s ovim procesom. Poseban naglasak stavlja se na prilagodbu poslovnih procesa, optimizaciju resursa i povećanje društvene odgovornosti. Implementacija ESG standarda donosi višestruke koristi: 1. Okolišni aspekti (Environmental): Smanjenje emisije CO2 kroz optimizaciju logistike, korištenje ekološki prihvatljivih vozila i uvođenje digitalnih rješenja koja smanjuju potrebu za papirnom dokumentacijom. 2. Društveni aspekti (Social): Povećanje zadovoljstva zaposlenika kroz unapređenje radnih uvjeta, promicanje raznolikosti i jednakosti te povećanje angažmana zajednice kroz društveno odgovorne projekte. 3. Upravljanje (Governance): Unaprjeđenje korporativnog upravljanja kroz transparentnost u poslovanju, jačanje etike i integriteta te bolje upravljanje rizicima. Među glavnim izazovima istaknuti su otpor prema promjenama unutar organizacije, visoki početni troškovi investicija u zelene tehnologije te potreba za kontinuiranom edukacijom zaposlenika o ESG principima. Implementacija ESG standarda u poslovanje poštanske tvrtke nije samo regulatorna obveza već i prilika za stvaranje dugoročne vrijednosti. ESG pristup pomaže u jačanju konkurentnosti, poboljšanju imidža tvrtke i doprinosi održivom razvoju društva i okoliša. Less
Abstract (english)
ESG standards (Environmental, Social, Governance) are becoming increasingly important in the business world, highlighting the need for sustainable and responsible business. This paper explores how the implementation of ESG standards can improve the business of a company operating in the universal postal services sector, focusing on environmental, social and governance aspects. The main objective of the paper is to present methods and strategies for implementing ESG standards in the business... More of a postal company and to analyze the benefits and challenges associated with this process. Special emphasis is placed on the adaptation of business processes, optimization of resources and increased social responsibility. The implementation of ESG standards brings multiple benefits: 1. Environmental aspects: Reducing CO2 emissions through logistics optimization, the use of environmentally friendly vehicles and the introduction of digital solutions that reduce the need for paper documentation. 2. Social aspects: Increasing employee satisfaction through improving working conditions, promoting diversity and equality and increasing community engagement through socially responsible projects. 3. Governance: Improving corporate governance through transparency in business, strengthening ethics and integrity and better risk management. Among the main challenges, resistance to change within the organization, high initial costs of investments in green technologies and the need for continuous education of employees on ESG principles are highlighted. The implementation of ESG standards in the operations of a postal company is not only a regulatory obligation but also an opportunity to create long-term value.
